Every record in our database comes from information that Shopify merchants have chosen to publish on their own public storefronts. Specifically, we collect contact emails that appear on a store's /pages/contact page, their About page, or in their website footer -- pages that are accessible to any visitor without a login.
We do not access Shopify admin panels, merchant dashboards, or any password-protected area. We do not purchase data from data brokers, and we do not scrape private account information. Our index is built the same way a prospective customer would find a store's contact email: by visiting the store and reading what the merchant chose to make public.
Once collected, each email address is validated through SMTP-level verification (ZeroBounce) to confirm the mailbox exists before it enters our active database. Records that fail validation are removed.
Any merchant who wishes to be removed from our database can submit a request at opt-out@b2brepurpose.com or via our opt-out page. We process removals within 24 hours and maintain a permanent suppression list so that opted-out records are never re-added or resold.
B2B direct marketing is permitted under Article 6(1)(f) legitimate interest. For EU/EEA data subjects, we honor Art. 14 information requirements and provide a clear objection mechanism. Suppression is applied within 24 hours of any opt-out request.

Yes. CAN-SPAM permits B2B cold email in the US provided you include accurate sender identification, a physical mailing address, and a working unsubscribe mechanism. Under GDPR, B2B outreach to corporate email addresses is permitted on a legitimate interest basis (Article 6(1)(f)), distinct from B2C marketing which requires prior consent. We provide opt-out guidance with every export.
We run a full refresh cycle weekly. New stores are indexed as they appear, and stores that have closed or gone offline are removed. When you export a list, every included email is validated at that moment through ZeroBounce SMTP verification -- the validation status is not a stale flag from a previous check.
If your first export has a bounce rate above 2%, contact us with the bounce report and we will replace the failed records at no charge within 48 hours. If you are unsatisfied with data quality after replacement, we offer a full refund on your first month's subscription. Renewal months are non-refundable but you can cancel anytime to prevent future charges.
Any merchant can submit a removal request to opt-out@b2brepurpose.com or through our opt-out page at b2brepurpose.com/opt-out. We process removals within 24 hours. Once removed, a record is placed on a permanent suppression list and is never re-indexed, re-added, or resold.
We guarantee a bounce rate below 2% at the time of export. Every email is SMTP-validated through ZeroBounce before delivery. If your campaign exceeds 2% hard bounces, forward the report and we will replace the invalid records free of charge within 48 hours. We do not guarantee 100% deliverability -- emails can go invalid between validation and send time, which is normal for any data product.
Yes. The Agency plan ($399/mo) includes full REST API access with filtering by niche, GMV tier, country, traffic estimate, and installed apps. API documentation is available after signup. Starter and Pro plans do not include API access but support on-demand CSV exports.
We process data under GDPR Article 6(1)(f) legitimate interest for B2B direct marketing. EU data subjects can object at any time via our opt-out endpoint. For CCPA, we provide a clear opt-out-of-sale mechanism, do not sell personal information to third parties, and honor deletion requests within 30 days.
